Who is the East End Herd?
Well, the team consists of 4 qualified participants that are ALL IN and ready to BRING IT on Race Day – Saturday, September 15.
Let me introduce you:
Coach Liz Liggon– Coach of the East End Herd and personal trainer for people interested in a plant-based diet.
Jay Shah runner who competed in the Wall Street Run, this past spring, 2018.
Alecia Moore– After running the 10K NYC Race for the Farm Sanctuary of Watkins Glen last year, Alecia’s goal is to beat her previous best time. Follow her on our Instagram and Facebook connection as she and the group readies for the race!
Zack Moore– Zack (aka-wildman) recently placed 1st in the New Jersey Wildcat Ridge Romp/50-mile Ultra Race. Zack also competed in his first Ironman 70.3 Syracuse earlier this year!
The Heat is ON
Now it’s your turn to weigh in! The East End Herd needs your financial support to help them moooove to the finish line for the animal sanctuary. The inhabitants of the Farm need funds to make it through the winter. Necessities include feed, veterinarian appointments, and straw for bedding.
The generous volunteers, who selflessly give their time helping at Lewis Oliver, will be cheering everyone on who contributes towards the animals’ welfare.
So, please donate whatever you can to the East End Herd which will be running for the sanctuary. They need your contribution to further this worthy cause.
You can visit the Lewis Oliver Farm Sanctuary in Northport, NY! Meet the beautiful recipients of your generous donation during visiting hours! And please do come on down to the race (starting time 8:30 am) to cheer on THE EAST END HERD!! It’ll be a fun time for all!
P.S. To see some of the faces of those you’ll be supporting, check out our Holiday Sweater Party Fundraising Event from last December. After looking into those beautiful faces you’ll want to “race” to sponsor the East End Herd as they run for the animals! 😉
